2006
In 2006, the Award went global – inviting students from all over the world to participate.
2,037 students from 496 schools in 92 countries registered, and the number of submissions more than doubled to 557 projects from 225 schools in 53 countries.
20 winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes and 17 honourable mentions) representing 12 different countries were announced and celebrated at the Award event at the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain, in October 2006.
