In which formats may projects be submitted? For the 2008 Award we expect to introduce digital submission of all projects. The exact guideline for digital submission will be published later.
When will the next Award take place? The Award takes place every second year, next time in 2008.
When is it possible to register for the 2008 Award? You can register for the International VELUX Award 2008 from 1 October 2007 to 28 March 2008.
Are the projects anonymous? Yes, all projects are anonymous until the announcement of the winners at the Award event. No names of entrants, teachers, schools or countries must appear on any part of the submitted material. Instead you must make a personal code consisting of two letters and four random numbers (e.g. AZ2637) and print this code at the lower right hand corner of all your submitted drawings, documents and digital files.
What does it mean that the Award is open for "students of architecture"? The Award is open to students of architecture all over the world. Every student or team of students has to be backed by a teacher. The team may include other students like engineers or designers.
When is the deadline for submission for the 2008 Award? Deadline for sending your project is 18 May 2008.
Can winners of previous Awards participate in the 2008 Award? Yes, if they otherwise comply with the Award rules.
