Call for daylight projects! The International VELUX Award is a biennial competition for students of architecture. We challenge students from all over the world to work with daylight as an ever relevant source of light, life and joy. What is your project?
All award entries for the International VELUX Award 2018 will be reviewed by an international jury. The jury is comprised of internationally renowned architects and composed in collaboration with the International Union of Architects (UIA).

International VELUX Award 2018 is arranged in close collaboration with the International Union of Architects (UIA) and regional winners will be presented as part of the program at the World Architecture Festival in Amsterdam in November 2018.
International VELUX Award 2018 is acknowledged by the following educational organizations: The European Association for Architectural Education, The American Institute of Architecture Students, the Architectural Research Centers Consortium, and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
By entering the International VELUX Award registration site, and your personal account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer; moreover, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
By entering the International VELUX Award, the participants accept that the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the organiser – the VELUX Group – may publish and disseminate the submitted projects and photos of the participants in analogue and digital form, including all names of team members, teachers and schools.
When signing up for International VELUX Award, the VELUX Group will collect names and email addresses for all participating students and teachers. The information will be kept for 24 months until the next edition of the award. The data will be shared with the company Sqore, who is operating the website.
